Vintage Car Collection
The Vintage Car Museum in Udaipur is a fascinating attraction that displays the royal family’s collection of classic and heritage automobiles. Opened to the public in 2000, it offers car enthusiasts and history lovers a chance to admire some of the rarest and most iconic vehicles once owned by the Maharanas of Mewar. Originally housed in the Mewar State Motor Garage, part of the HRH Group’s Garden Hotel premises, the museum has since become one of Udaipur’s most visited cultural sites.
Inside, the Vintage Car Collection features meticulously preserved vehicles—many still in running condition even after 70 years. From elegant Rolls-Royces and Cadillacs to historic horse-drawn carriages, the display reflects Udaipur’s royal automotive legacy
Adding to its charm is a fully functional vintage Shell petrol pump, making this museum a must-visit for travelers seeking a glimpse of Rajasthan’s regal history and classic motoring heritage.
